Vitamin & Mineral Regimen for COVID-19

(* This protocol is a simplified version of a protocol developed and updated by Paul Marik, MD, Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, VA. [PDFs available below] I have adjusted some of the intake levels based upon my own research and simplified the protocol for home use.)

Prevention and Preparation

• Vitamin C:  2,000 mg 2x/day (use 'Liposomal Vit C' if you can find it)
• Quercetin:  250 mg daily
• Zinc:  50 mg/day
• Vitamin D3:  5,000 IU/day

Infection with Mild Symptoms (at home)

• Vitamin C:  3,000 mg 3x/day (should use 'Liposomal Vit C' in order to avoid bowel intolerance)
• Quercetin:  500 mg daily
• Zinc:  100 mg/day
• Vitamin D3:  10,000 IU/day (for a maximum of 7 days, then back to 5,000 IU/day)
• Melatonin:  3 mg/day (use 'extended release' form and take before bed)
